Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services is seeking an HS&E Advisor to lead Health, Safety, and Environment practices on assigned sites across North America. You will provide expert guidance to operations teams and clients, apply safety management systems, and mentor HS&E personnel to improve performance.

Responsibilities include hazard assessments, on-site guidance for HS&E programs, incident investigations, and data-driven safety improvements.

Qualifications

• One or more years of practical experience as an HSE professional; telecommunications experience preferred.
• Formal Occupational Health and Safety (OH&S) education is an asset.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to persuasively communicate and influence stakeholders at all project levels.
• Ability to pass pre-access requirements including clean driver’s abstract and drug screen/breathalyzer.

Responsibilities

• Hazard assessments, inspections, and audits; report findings and verify corrective actions.
• HSE process guidance for operations management on safety programs and emergency response.
• Mentor and support HSE Coordinators and Advisors to improve effectiveness.
• Data collection and reporting; analyze safety data to recommend improvements.
• Lead complex incident investigations and identify root causes; train teams on investigations.
• Support supervisors in managing occupational injuries/illnesses and return-to-work processes.
