Job summary

Ledcor Technical Services seeks a knowledgeable HS&E Advisor to apply professional Health, Safety, and Environment practices at project sites across North America. You will advise operations teams and clients, guide HS&E personnel, and implement safety management systems with minimal supervision.

The role includes mentoring HS&E staff, leading incident investigations, and supporting injury management, with a hybrid work setup and substantial travel to Ledcor sites.

Qualifications

• One or more years of practical HS&E experience; telecommunications preferred.
• Fluent in written and spoken Spanish.
• Formal Occupational Health and Safety education is an asset.
• Demonstrated intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Proven ability to communicate persuasively across project levels and ensure HS&E compliance.
• Ability to pass pre-access requirements including clean driver’s abstract and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Hazard Assessments, Inspections, and Audits: develop hazard assessments and conduct audits, report findings and verify corrective actions.
• HS&E Process Guidance: provide on-site guidance on HS&E programs and address emergency response, metrics, and safety systems.
• Mentorship and Support: mentor HS&E Coordinators and Advisors to improve safety processes.
• Data Collection and Reporting: assess corrective actions from incidents and audits and analyze safety data for improvements.
• Incident Management: lead complex investigations, identify root causes, and train teams on investigation processes.
• Injury/Illness Management: support supervisors in managing injuries and return-to-work processes.
