Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. is seeking an HRIS Specialist II (Contract) to join our HR team in Herndon, VA, with responsibility for maintaining and evolving our HRIS platform.

The role requires partnering with HR, IT, finance, and business stakeholders to deliver value and a high-impact employee experience through requirements, data audits, testing, and enablement. The role reports to the Director, HRIS for North America and emphasizes product ownership, project management, and end-user enablement

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HRM, business administration, computer science, information systems or related field.
• 6+ years of relevant work experience.
• 3+ years of Workday HCM Suite experience.
• Experience with Workday HCM and/or Dayforce.
• Extensive full HCM lifecycle experience including payroll, time, benefits.

Responsibilities

• Serve as functional Product Owner and 2nd level analyst for HRIS modules including Workday HCM and related areas.
• Maintain and prioritize the functional backlog from CoEs and HRBPs into user stories and requirements.
• Coordinate releases, regression testing, and changes to workflows and integrations.
• Lead end-user enablement and training to promote adoption and accuracy.
• Partner with IT, vendors, and stakeholders to resolve defects and ensure service delivery.
