Job summary

Life-Science Innovations, headquartered in Willmar, MN, on the MinnWest Technology Campus, is seeking a full-time HR Systems Specialist to manage HRIS and timekeeping systems, support payroll and benefits, and handle system inquiries.

The role emphasizes data accuracy, HIPAA confidentiality, testing, reporting, and continuous system improvements. Requires 2+ years in HR/admin, HS diploma, and proficiency with UKG Pro and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in HR or an admin role handling confidential information.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with HRIS systems, payroll, and/or benefits administration preferred.
• Proficient in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Experience with UKG Pro and related tools is a plus.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support daily HRIS administration, data management and setup.
• Assist with benefits administration including enrollments and life events.
• Maintain HRIS data accuracy through audits and reporting.
• Review benefit invoices and coordinate corrections with vendors.
• Support payroll operations and processing assistance.
• Assist with HRIS testing, updates and improvements affecting Payroll/Benefits.
• Support regulatory compliance reporting (ACA, Form 5500, OSHA).
• Generate and review HRIS reports and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain HRIS procedures and ensure HIPAA compliance.
