Job summary

Unison Health in Ohio is seeking an HR Specialist to support the Respite Alliance Program. You will manage onboarding, maintain HRIS records, and ensure accurate employee data.

This role partners with HR leadership and program staff to support hiring, documentation, and system maintenance. Responsibilities include new hire onboarding, HRIS updates, data audits, file management, employment changes, and HR reporting.

Qualifications

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years HR, administrative, or HRIS experience preferred.
• Experience with HRIS systems, data entry, and employee records management.
• Strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate new hire onboarding for Respite Alliance employees.
• Maintain and update employee records within the HRIS system.
• Perform data entry and data audits to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Support employee file management and documentation tracking.
• Assist with employment changes such as status updates, transfers, and terminations.
• Ensure HR records are maintained in accordance with policies and compliance.
• Provide administrative support for HR processes and reporting.
• Collaborate with HR team and program leadership to support staffing needs.
