Job summary

Unum is seeking an HR Operations Administrator to support all employee life-cycle activities across multiple HR functions and regions. You will research and resolve issues, process data changes, perform systems testing, and complete administrative tasks in HRIS and other systems.

You will mentor HR Specialists, drive process improvements, and ensure confidentiality and compliance. This role sits within Unum’s Chattanooga operations, offering growth within a Fortune 500 benefits provider.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience in human resources, business administration or a related field.
• Strong analytical and communication skills with the ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Experience with HRIS, compensation, payroll, recruitment, performance management, or benefits administration is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support by researching and resolving issues and processing job data changes across HR functions and regions.
• Perform systems testing and complete administrative activities.
• Mentor HR Specialists and HR Case Managers and serve as subject-matter expert.
