Job summary

Unison Health in Ohio is seeking a Human Resources Assistant to support recruitment, onboarding, benefits management, compliance tracking, and employee relations. This role requires meticulous data entry, confidential handling of information, and strong organizational skills to keep HR processes running smoothly.

You will act as a primary contact for staff, coordinate pre-employment activities, maintain HRIS records, and assist with reports and training coordination in a mission-driven

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience may be considered.
• Working knowledge of HRIS systems, data entry, and general HR practices.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
• Ability to work independently while contributing effectively as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate pre-employment and onboarding processes
• Provide support throughout the recruitment process
• Maintain accurate employee data and HRIS records
• Track and maintain compliance requirements and documentationMonitor and triage HR ticket requests and provide departmental support
• Respond to daily HR-related questions and inquiries
• Provide ongoing support and assistance to employees
• Coordinate employee training and development activities
• Prepare and maintain HR reports and documentation
