Job summary

State of Delaware seeks an HRIS Manager II to lead the Operations Team and manage the PHRST Help Desk, ensuring accurate employee data and efficient HRIS processes.

In this role, you will supervise staff, coordinate HRIS training, develop reports, and drive system improvements while ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations. Collaboration with leadership and cross-training are key responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Two years' experience as an HRIS expert in HRIS applications that manage payroll, benefits, or time/attendance.
• Two years' experience overseeing HRIS training processes and requirements analyses.
• Two years' experience in information systems project management.
• One year of staff supervision including planning and evaluating work.
• One year developing and evaluating HRIS policies or procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides system analysis and consultation for HRIS applications and helpdesk operations.
• Researches and resolves inquiries, requests, and training needs; proposes solutions.
• Monitors data change requests and updates employee data and access controls.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal HRIS laws and standards.
• Develops, runs, and maintains reports and queries for ongoing needs.
• Trains staff and end users; updates procedures and training materials.
• Communicates across diverse teams and performs related duties.
