Job summary

BDO USA in New York is seeking a Workforce in Transactions Manager to lead human resources due diligence and integration for mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and dispositions for private equity and corporate clients. Our team identifies HR risks and designs go‑forward HR strategies across compensation, benefits and HR systems in domestic and global deals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; fields such as Mathematics, Economics, Finance or HR preferred.
• Five or more years of HR transactions, actuarial, compensation or strategic service consulting experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; proficient with MS Office (Excel/PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Oversees pre-deal diligence, coordinating with stakeholders and meeting deadlines.
• Assesses compensation and benefits impact and goes forward organization design.
• Develops go‑forward HR strategy and quantifies financial impact of decisions.
• Executes HR strategy across compensation, benefits, systems, and change management.
• Manages project plans, milestones, dependencies, and cross-functional work streams.
• Prepares client reports and presents findings to executives; mentors junior staff.
