Job summary

BDO USA is seeking a Workforce in Transactions Manager to lead HR due diligence and integration services on mergers, acquisitions, spin-offs and dispositions for both private equity and corporate clients. The role involves identifying HR risks, advising on go-forward strategies, and coordinating compensation, benefits, and organizational design across multi‑jurisdiction engagements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; field of study in Applied Mathematics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Accounting, Economics, Finance, Human Resources Management preferred.
• Five (5) or more years of HR transactions, actuarial, compensation and/or strategic service consulting experience preferred.
• Ability to clearly communicate (written and verbal) required.
• Strong financial acumen and advanced Excel skills preferred.
• Experience drafting reports and presentations to C-Suite executives preferred.

Responsibilities

• Diligence (Pre-Deal): oversee diligence, manage stakeholders, meet deadlines; review compensation and benefits programs; assess workforce impacts on merger or carve-out; quantify impacts for the transaction.
• Post-Deal: formulate go-forward HR strategy, quantify financial impact of decisions; execute HR strategy across compensation, benefits, HR systems, org design, change management, communications, culture.
• Consulting: serve as a consultant to clients; prepare brief written reports; interview executive staff; supervise junior staff; present information to clients.
• Supports leadership within the group; direct junior staff on complex data models using Excel; prepare presentations using PowerPoint.
• Other duties as required.
