Job summary

Shaw Industries in Georgia seeks an HR Trainer to develop people, deliver engaging learning experiences, and help employees succeed from day one.

You will facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding, deliver instructor-led training on safety, HR, operational, and company topics, and partner with supervisors to support development across all shifts. Maintain training records for compliance and stay current on adult learning techniques.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Ability to learn business software quickly.
• Maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding.
• Deliver instructor-led training on safety, HR, operational, and company topics.
• Partner with supervisors to support employee development across all shifts.
• Evaluate training progress, coach staff, and help associates transition into roles.
• Create, update, and improve training materials and resources.
• Serve as a training SME and resource for hourly associates.
• Collaborate with operations, HR, and leadership to identify training needs.
• Maintain training records to support compliance and audit requirements.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and plant-wide communications.
• Provide translation and interpretation support when needed.
• Stay current on adult learning techniques and training best practices.
