Job summary

Shaw Industries is seeking an HR Trainer to partner with manufacturing leadership in delivering onboarding, safety, and development programs for hourly associates.

You will facilitate orientation, lead instructor-led trainings across shifts, maintain training records, and translate materials as needed to support effective workforce development. This role emphasizes collaboration and continuous improvement within a Berkshire Hathaway-backed company.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in MS Office or quick learning of business software.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
• Self-motivated, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities.
• Flexibility to support training across shifts.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate new hire orientation and onboarding programs.
• Deliver instructor-led training on safety, HR, and operational topics.
• Partner with supervisors to support employee development across shifts.
• Evaluate training progress, coach, and assist role transitions.
• Create and improve training materials and resources.
• Serve as training SME and support hourly associate development.
• Collaborate with operations and HR to identify training needs.
• Maintain training records for compliance and audits.
• Support employee engagement and plant-wide communications.
• Provide translation/interpretation support when needed.
• Stay current on adult learning techniques and training best practices.
