Job summary

Wonder is seeking a senior Manager, HR Technology to lead the People Technology Platform, focused on Workday architecture, integrations, and AI-enabled workflows. This role demands hands-on expertise, strategic thinking, and a track record of delivering scalable HR solutions.

You will own the platform, drive data integrity, governance, and interoperability across payroll, benefits, and workforce tools, while collaborating across fast-paced teams in a hybrid office environment.

Qualifications

5 to 8+ years of experience in HR Technology, People Systems, or related platform roles.
Strong hands-on experience with Workday across multiple modules.
Experience beyond configuration including integrations, APIs, automation, or system design.
Familiarity with tools and capabilities such as Workday Extend, Prism, or similar platform technologies.
Understanding of integration patterns, data flows, and system architecture concepts.
Strong experience with business process design, data models, and reporting and analytics.
Proven ability to independently own and deliver complex solutions end-to-end.
Experience in high-growth, fast-paced, or transformation environments.

Responsibilities

Own the People Technology Platform.
Own and evolve the architecture, configuration, and performance of Workday as the core of the People Technology ecosystem.
Design scalable, extensible solutions that go beyond configuration and improve how employees and managers interact with systems.
Translate business needs into well-architected solutions using configuration, APIs, integrations, and automation frameworks.
Build AI-Enabled Experiences & Automation; design and implement intelligent automation that reduces manual work and enables scale across People Operations.
Leverage AI to enhance employee experiences including self-service, case deflection, knowledge retrieval, and workflow orchestration.
Partner in shaping an AI-first People Experience using tools such as Workday AI along with emerging AI technologies.
Identify and implement opportunities to embed AI into workflows across onboarding, support, and employee lifecycle moments.
Platform Engineering & System Design: operate with a platform mindset by building reusable, scalable solutions across systems and processes.
Design and optimize business processes with a focus on performance, scalability, compliance, and simplicity.
Ensure strong data integrity, governance, and system reliability across the HR technology stack.
Integrations, APIs & Connectivity: design, build, and optimize integrations between Workday and external systems using APIs, middleware, and event-driven patterns.
Enable seamless data flow and interoperability across systems such as payroll, benefits, and workforce tools.
Contribute to a connected and flexible HR technology ecosystem that can evolve with the business.
Drive Transformation & Scale: play a key role in major initiatives including M&A integrations, system implementations, and organizational scaling.
Help evolve the HR tech ecosystem into a modern, AI-enabled platform.
Contribute to building a best-in-class People Technology function.
