Job summary

Wonder is seeking a senior-level contributor to join our People Tech team as Manager, HR Technology. This Workday expert role goes beyond upkeep, shaping architecture, integrations, and AI-enabled experiences for employees and managers.

You will own the HR tech platform, drive scalable solutions, and partner on transformations, AI initiatives, and data governance in a fast-growing environment. A hybrid NYC-area role with collaboration in office is expected.

Qualifications

• 5–8+ years in HR Technology, People Systems, or related roles.
• Strong hands-on Workday experience across modules.
• Experience beyond configuration including integrations, APIs, automation, or system design.
• Familiarity with Workday Extend, Prism, or similar tools.
• Understanding of data models, governance, and reporting/analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the People Technology Platform architecture, configuration, and performance of Workday as the core system.
• Design scalable, intelligent automation to reduce manual work and scale People Operations.
• Build an AI-enabled People Experience using Workday AI and other AI tools.
• Design and optimize processes with a platform mindset focusing on performance and reliability.
• Develop integrations between Workday and payroll, benefits, and workforce tools using APIs and middleware.
