Job summary

WEP Clinical invites motivated students to join their Human Resources team as an intern in Morrisville, NC. You'll support data management and HR system activities while gaining hands‑on experience across HR functions in a global CRO environment.

You will assist with onboarding, documentation, and reporting, contributing to process improvements and compliance. Excellent communication and collaboration are essential as you partner with internal teams and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Marketing, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Basic knowledge of IT systems and troubleshooting.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• High level of discretion and confidentiality.
• Eagerness to learn and take on new challenges.

Responsibilities

• Support the project lead in implementing a new Human Capital Management (HCM) system by gathering, organizing, and validating employee data for migration.
• Map and document existing HR workflows and processes to inform system configuration and automation opportunities.
• Participate in system testing, end‑user feedback collection, and training sessions.
• Help track project milestones and update documentation reflecting progress and lessons learned.
• Maintain accurate employee records in compliance with policies and legal requirements.
• Assist with onboarding, training sessions, and professional development initiatives.
• Support employee engagement, internal communication, and logistics for HR events.
• Audit HR processes and personnel files to identify areas for improvement and policy alignment.
• Contribute to office operations and productivity initiatives.
