Job summary

Qualifications

• Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in human resource management or closely related field.
• Ability to handle and work with confidential information within defined requirements.
• Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving and organizational skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Eligibility to receive and maintain a DOE security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Research and provide accurate and timely responses to employee inquiries.
• Support new hire onboarding and provide a positive employee experience to new hires.
• Support accurate data collection by updating internal employee systems and databases.
• Use available tools and resources to prepare HR-related reports to support the business.
• Review and provide recommendations on ways to improve HR policies and processes.
• Draft engaging employee communications on policy and procedural changes.
• Maintain new hires files while ensuring integrity and confidentiality of records.
• Collaborate with HR and the local management team.
• Participate in continuous improvement projects.
