Sentara Health Human Resources Representative role sits at the front line of our HR function, guiding colleagues through inquiries, policies, and processes with accuracy and empathy. You’ll help with onboarding and offboarding and support essential HR cycles while ensuring compliant, timely employee records.

Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative or customer services experience.
• HR experience preferred.
• Strong experience with Workday.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Understands confidentiality, communication and customer service.

Responsibilities

• Respond to inquiries regarding general HR issues, policies, procedures, and processes.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes and HR cyclical activities.
• Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate processing of employee transactions.
• Maintain documentation and records for HR-related cases.
