Job summary

Sentara Health is seeking an HR Representative to serve as front-line support for colleagues, answering inquiries on HR policies, processes and transactions with accuracy and discretion. The role supports onboarding/offboarding, HR cyclical processes and compliance, while collaborating with the HR team to ensure timely processing of employee transactions and high customer satisfaction.

Experience with Workday is preferred.

Qualifications

• 1 year of administrative or customer services experience.
• Human Resources experience (Preferred).
• 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
• Onboarding experience desirable or required.
• Strong experience with Workday.
• Excellent Customer Service and Communication skills.
• Understands confidentiality and compliance requirements.

Responsibilities

• Provide front-line HR support with real-time, accurate responses to inquiries.
• Process employee transactions based on guidelines and information.
• Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes.
• Support HR cyclical processes and compliance considerations.
• Collaborate with HR team to ensure accurate processing of transactions.
• Escalate complex issues and maintain documentation of HR cases.
