Job summary

Stamford Health is seeking an HR Support Partner to be the frontline of HR, handling inquiries, onboarding, and talent acquisition support. This on-site role supports the Stamford Hospital front desk, HR lines, and email inbox while ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations.

You will work with Talent Acquisition to manage candidate journeys post-offer, verify pre-employment requirements, conduct background checks, and support scheduling multi-stage interviews.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary/secondary contact for HR front desk and central HR lines; greet and route visitors and emails.
• Manage HR tickets requiring research and basic policy/benefits navigation.
• Triage and escalate complex issues to appropriate team members; resolve Tier 2 tickets.
• Audit records to support regulatory requirements and other requests as needed.
• Partner with TA recruiters to guide new hires post-offer; assist onboarding process.
