Swift Transportation in Phoenix, AZ is seeking an entry-level HR Business Support Specialist who will back HR Business Partners and leadership, serving as a cultural ambassador and monitoring employee engagement.

You will support hiring, onboarding, employee relations investigations, ATS maintenance, and HR events while ensuring timely responses and smooth pre-employment processes; a strong service mindset is essential.

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in administrative support required.
• Previous experience in Human Resources preferred.
• Knowledge of ATS preferred.
• Associate's degree in Human Resources or related field or equivalent combination of education and/or experience required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for HR Business Partners and HR Leadership.
• Provide proactive customer service to hiring leaders, employees and candidates.
• Maintain department metrics reports as needed/requested by HRBP's and/or HR Directors.
• Assist HRBP's with employee relations issues and conduct investigations as requested.
• Assist with maintaining the Applicant Tracking System; ensuring timely responses.
• Schedule new employee orientations and assist or conduct them as requested.
• Ensure all pre-employment processes are successfully completed.
• Support HR events and process registrations/fees.
• Handle queues (phone, email, in-person) with accurate information or routing.
• Participate in special projects or ad-hoc assignments for department initiatives.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
