Job summary

Swift Transportation is seeking an HR Business Support Specialist to provide day-to-day operational support for HR Business Partners and HR leadership in Phoenix. The role emphasizes acting as a cultural ambassador, engaging employees, and helping maintain smooth HR processes from application to onboarding.

As an entry-level professional, you will handle ATS administration, employee inquiries, orientation scheduling, and event support, while partnering with HRBPs on investigations and policy

Qualifications

• 3 years' experience in administrative support is required.
• Previous HR experience preferred.
• Knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) preferred.
• Associate's degree in HR or related field (or equivalent) required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational support for HR Business Partners and HR leadership.
• Maintain departmental metrics reports as needed.
• Guide employees on company policies and procedures.
• Assist with employee relations and investigations as requested.
• Maintain the Applicant Tracking System and respond timely.
• Schedule new employee orientations and assist as needed.
• Ensure pre-employment processes are completed.
• Support HR events and registrations.
• Handle queues and direct visitors to HRBPs.
• Participate in department projects and ad-hoc assignments.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
