Job summary

Redwood Materials seeks a Senior Training Specialist to lead EHS and training programs for the Energy Services unit, supporting power electronics manufacturing, R&D, and field operations. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in occupational safety and health, industrial hygiene, engineering, or related field, or equivalent EHS training experience.
• 5+ years’ experience delivering EHS programs in manufacturing or heavy industry.
• Authorized outreach trainer status or ability to obtain within first year.
• Knowledge of federal and state general industry safety regulations and ANSI B11.
• Experience applying Design for EHS or prevention-through-design principles.
• Strong technical writing skills for regulatory content.
• Ability to stop unsafe work and coach through it.

Responsibilities

• Partner with process and manufacturing engineering during production line design to eliminate hazards.
• Provide EHS support to R&D power electronics teams, including safety reviews.
• Support field service with EHS guidance for on-site work and lockout/tag-out.
• Maintain EHS training matrix and LMS records for required training and certifications.
• Assist audits and regulatory inspections related to Energy Services processes.
• Develop and deliver EHS training including LOTO, Electrical Safety, forklift operations.
• Deliver 10-hour general industry safety training to new hires and production personnel.
• Create work instructions, visuals, and toolbox talks translating requirements into training content.
