Job summary

Geneva Capital LLC is a dynamic national equipment finance company seeking an HR & Payroll Generalist to join the Human Resources team. The role reports to the President and offers opportunities to impact payroll, benefits, recruitment, and compliance.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in Human Resources
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality

Responsibilities

• Process biweekly payroll, monthly commissions and incentives, quarterly gainsharing, and annual bonuses
• Administer PTO tracking, FMLA leave and pay, and employee benefits enrollment
• Maintain payroll and benefits records and personnel data
• Coordinate payroll reporting with benefit providers
• Respond to employee questions regarding payroll and benefits
• Coordinate annual open enrollment and work with benefits brokers
• Advise management on compensation, benefits, and related employee matters
• Help administer the company’s 401(k) retirement plan and payroll deductions
• Develop and maintain job descriptions and coordinate recruitment efforts
• Prepare offer letters and oversee onboarding
• Conduct exit interviews and finalize paychecks
• Coordinate COBRA payments after termination
• Analyze salary and benefits survey data
