Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking an HR Operations Specialist in California to handle system-focused HR processes with accuracy and independent judgment.

You will support payroll, benefits, leave administration, and complex Workday transactions while collaborating with HRBPs and legal partners. The role demands strong attention to detail, the ability to manage multiple workflows, and professional discretion handling sensitive information.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in an HR operations, HRIS, or HR coordinator role.
• Strong Workday HCM experience — transaction processing, data entry, and reporting.
• Knowledge of leave administration, payroll processes, and benefits operations.
• Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and applicable state leave laws.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process complex payroll transactions and garnishments; partner with Payroll on escalated issues.
• Manage benefits life event processing and vendor portal administration; escalate questions when needed.
• Own leave case management including LOA documentation and FMLA tracking.
• Process Workday transactions including hires, terminations, transfers, and promotions.
• Review transactions for accuracy to prevent downstream payroll/reporting issues.
• Manage Workday inbox and ServiceNow for complex cases requiring system access or compliance judgment.
