Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. seeks an Office Payroll Specialist I to ensure accurate, timely wage payments for our employee-owners nationwide.

You will execute core payroll tasks, maintain records, and resolve inquiries, supporting project teams and HR with data integrity and compliance. You will work with timekeeping, benefits, and tax withholdings while staying informed on federal and state regulations and union provisions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; associate degree preferred.
• 1–3 years of progressive payroll processing experience, ideally in construction or unionized settings.
• Experience with multi-state payroll and union contracts is a plus.
• Strong accuracy, data entry, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Process weekly payroll for designated groups, ensuring accurate hours, deductions, and earnings.
• Verify and input timecard data, new hire info, and changes in the payroll system.
• Respond to payroll inquiries regarding pay stubs, taxes, and vacation balances.
• Reconcile payroll data and generate internal reports; assist with year-end processes.
• Maintain confidentiality of payroll data and stay current on payroll regulations.
