YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY:

The HR Operations Specialist executes the work that requires system expertise, compliance knowledge, and independent judgment. You are the person the Admins escalated to, and the person who ensures transactions are processed accurately before they touch payroll, legal, or the employee record. This role requires a strong understanding of HR processes, a high degree of accuracy, and the ability to manage multiple complex workstreams simultaneously.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
  • Process complex payroll transactions including garnishments, final checks, officer medical, tuition reimbursement, and payroll corrections; partner with Payroll on escalated issues
  • Manage benefits life event processing, troubleshooting, and vendor portal administration; serve as the escalation point for benefits questions the Admin team cannot resolve
  • Own leave case management including LOA documentation, FMLA eligibility tracking, workers compensation, and coordination with HRBPs and payroll
  • Process complex Workday transactions including hires, terminations, transfers, compensation changes, promotions, job changes, and position management
  • Review and audit transactions for accuracy; identify and correct errors before they create downstream impact in payroll or reporting
  • Manage the Workday inbox and ServiceNow ticket queue for complex cases requiring system access or compliance judgment
  • Support ER documentation, investigation coordination, and accommodation request processing in partnership with the HR Ops Lead, HRBPs, and Legal
  • Manage H1-B immigration case coordination and attorney communication; maintain compliance with all filing deadlines
  • Compile and manage personnel records for legal requests, ensuring appropriate handling and custodian sign-off
  • Process vendor invoices, manage the contingent worker tracker, and support CW onboarding and offboarding in Workday
  • Administer total rewards programs including referral bonuses, service awards, car allowance, and ESOP processing
  • Conduct recurring compliance and data audits across payroll, I-9s, onboarding, leave, and Workday data quality
  • Deliver HR-related training, manage training assignments in Workday, and track and report training compliance
  • Support ROOT program facilitation and L&D event coordination
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL:
  • 2–4 years of experience in an HR operations, HRIS, or HR coordinator role
  • Strong Workday HCM experience — transaction processing, data entry, and reporting
  • Demonstrated knowledge of leave administration, payroll processes, and benefits operations
  • Working knowledge of FMLA, ADA, COBRA, and applicable state leave laws
  • Strong attention to detail; you understand that errors in this role have real downstream consequences
  • Ability to manage multiple active cases and transactions simultaneously with a high degree of accuracy
  • High professional discretion when handling sensitive employee, legal, and compliance matters
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field preferred; combination of education and experience accepted
WHAT YOU BRING TO US:
  • 1–2 years of experience in HR support, administrative coordination, or a related role
  • Can be a combination of education, training, and relevant experience
WORKING CONDITIONS:

  • Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning
  • Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the jobsite.
  • We fully comply with the ADA and applicable state law, including considering reasonable accommodation measures that may enable qualified disabled applicants and employees to perform essential functions.
  • Occasional lifting of up to 30 lbs.
