Job summary

Boys & Girls Club of North Central Illinois is seeking an Human Resources Coordinator to support recruitment, onboarding, employee services, and HR operations across the life cycle.

You will collaborate with HR leadership and organization leaders to implement processes, manage records, and coordinate technology access and property tracking. This role also supports volunteer and AmeriCorps programs and professional development activities.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of HR, recruiting, employee support, or people operations experience.
• HR certification preferred.
• Strong organization, follow-through, attention to detail, and ability to manage several deadlines at once.
• Clear, respectful written and verbal communication; sound judgment about confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Support and coordinate talent acquisition activities with HR team and hiring leaders, ensuring timely communication and smooth handoffs throughout the process.
• Coordinate onboarding and prehire activities, monitor progress, and help prepare employees and managers for a successful start.
• Coordinate equipment records, IT access, and company property, including laptops, key fobs, and building access in partnership with IT and school district partners.
