Job summary

City University of New York’s Baruch College seeks an HR Operations Manager (Operations) to oversee daily HR operations, payroll accuracy, timekeeping, and data integrity. You will work with HR leadership and campus partners to improve processes and reporting.

Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, the role focuses on consistent service delivery, audits, and compliance with labor laws and collective bargaining agreements while supporting sound HR practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and six years' related experience required.
• Experience overseeing HRIS, payroll, and timekeeping processes.
• Ability to develop operational reports and conduct audits.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily HR Operations and support improvement initiatives across HR operations through operational reporting, audits, and post-implementation analysis to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
• Direct payroll operations and serve as campus payroll lead, coordinating with University Payroll and ensuring alignment with institutional requirements.
• Develop queries and run reports from CUNYfirst HCM, Payroll, and EPAF systems, conduct audits, and analyze data to ensure accuracy and identify operational issues.
• Collaborate with Benefits to ensure time and leave administration aligns with benefits eligibility and policy requirements.
