Job summary

Phamily is seeking an HR Operations Manager to scale our People team's HR infrastructure across recruiting, payroll, benefits, HRIS, and compliance. You will lead end-to-end process improvement, build scalable solutions, and partner with cross-functional stakeholders to support the full employee lifecycle.

This hands-on role reports to the VP of Talent Management and aims to deliver a seamless, data-driven employee experience in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of progressive HR Operations and leadership experience.
• Experience with HRIS platforms (JustWorks, Lattice, EasyLlama, or equivalent) and HR analytics tools.
• Strong knowledge of U.S. employment laws and regulatory requirements.
• Demonstrated success in process improvement, HR service delivery, and project management.
• Tech-savvy and systems-oriented, with a passion for building and scaling infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master's degree or HR certifications preferred) or equivalent work experience.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end HR operations including payroll, compensation, benefits, performance management, and L&D.
• Optimize scalable HR processes across the employment lifecycle.
• Develop methodologies, templates, and toolkits to support operational excellence.
• Provide expert employee relations guidance to managers and employees on policies and practices.
• Lead HR projects from planning through execution within time and budget.
• Ensure compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Administer and optimize the HRIS for accurate, secure employee data.
• Maintain privacy, security, and compliance standards for employee data and reporting.
• Develop dashboards and reports for senior leadership on service delivery, compliance, and workforce planning.
• Track and report on key HR metrics and trends to inform strategy and improve employee experience.
• Act as a point of contact for HR inquiries with timely resolution.
