Whatnot seeks a proactive People Operations Partner to scale the employee experience and build scalable, compliant HR infrastructure. You’ll improve systems, programs, and processes that support our growing team, with a strong focus on accuracy and audit readiness.

You’ll collaborate across Payroll, Time & Attendance, and HR operations, delivering reliable, scalable operations from onboarding through offboarding and beyond.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of experience in People Ops, HR operations, or a similar role.
• Workday power user with ability to build reports and identify data issues.
• Experience with compliance, audits, payroll, and/or time & attendance systems.
• Think in systems and enjoy improving processes.
• Operate with a high degree of autonomy and drive projects end‑to‑end in ambiguous environments.

Responsibilities

• Lead core People Ops operations across the employee lifecycle, including changes, departures, and compensation updates.
• Drive compliance and audit readiness with accurate records and documentation.
• Partner on payroll and time & attendance with Finance and Total Rewards to ensure accuracy and controls.
• Build and scale reporting and analytics, including Workday dashboards for decision‑making.
• Lead cross‑functional People Ops initiatives with Recruiting, IT, Finance, and Legal.
• Maintain data integrity in Workday and ensure audit‑readiness of systems.
• Identify gaps across workflows and design scalable, efficient solutions.
