Job summary

Jerry.ai is seeking an experienced HR Operations Lead to own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits questions. You will operate hands-on in a small, high-intensity team, crafting policies, solving complex issues, and guiding the payroll function with judgment.

You’ll influence how AI is integrated into HR ops to cut busywork and amplify impact. Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, 2+ years in in-house HR with multi-state compliance, and a readiness to own day-to-day

Qualifications

• 2+ years of hands-on in-house HR experience with policy drafting and payroll handling.
• Genuine multi-state compliance experience and exposure to payroll/benefits questions.
• Comfortable in a small, high-intensity team and owning HR operations tasks.

Responsibilities

• Own multi-state compliance, policy drafting, and payroll/benefits questions.
• Lead annual compliance audit and handbook updates within first 90 days.
• Unblock Payroll and HR Administration team; review and improve HR ops processes with AI.
