Job summary

Essex Solutions Fort Wayne Plant is seeking an HR & Operations Coordinator to provide clerical, business and administrative support across production and engineering functions. You will handle hourly payroll, new-hire orientation, background and drug testing coordination, and data entry.

The role requires initiative, discretion and the ability to multitask in a confidential environment. This position supports operations, human resources, shipping, accounting and purchasing, and involves

Responsibilities

• Process hourly payroll.
• Conduct orientation for hourly new hires and track progress.
• Schedule background and drug tests for new hires and may schedule interviews.
• Provide administrative support to operations, HR, shipping, engineering, accounting and purchasing.
• Assist HR, Operations, Engineering, Accounting and Accounts Receivable with data entry and data tracking.
• Work with minimal supervision and maintain independence.
• Maintain confidential records and confidentiality.
• May have regular contact with customers, suppliers or company employees outside the immediate work group.
• Maintain inventory levels of supplies and enter orders.
• Accurate entry of scrap and other data.
• Other duties as assigned.
