Job summary

A-1 Little John is seeking an experienced Human Resources Manager to lead day-to-day HR operations, payroll, benefits, and credentialing for drivers. You will ensure system accuracy, compliance, and a positive employee experience while partnering with department managers across the company.

Responsibilities include Paycor administration, benefits benchmarking, wage and hour compliance, and DOT screening coordination. The role emphasizes process improvement and cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field
• 5+ years in HR operations with hands-on Paycor/payroll exposure
• Experience administering Paycor/payroll platforms
• Experience with benefits operations, vendor management
• Strong documentation, accuracy, and deadlines in HR processes

Responsibilities

• Own Paycor HRIS and payroll data integrity and updates
• Administer hires, job changes, organizational updates in line with policy
• Coordinate termination processes across internal teams
• Oversee benefits administration, carrier feeds, billing, and vendor management
• Manage payroll processing, PTO, and timekeeping accuracy/compliance
• Coordinate DOT background checks, drug testing, and credentialing
• Oversee workers' compensation administration and return-to-work processes
• Design and maintain HR dashboards and workforce metrics
• Support HR policy documentation and procedures
