The role manages payroll, benefits, training, safety programs, and compliance with OSHA, Wage-Hour, ERISA, and related regulations, while guiding employment relations and performance management across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field is required.
• 5–10 years of progressive leadership experience in Human Resources preferred.

Responsibilities

• Direct employment activities to recruit and hire qualified employees on time.
• Ensure policies and programs are understood and administered consistently.
• Oversee HR programs including benefits, payroll, and performance appraisal processes.
• Administer wage and salary administration and annual wage reviews for internal/external equity.
• Oversee payroll processing on a weekly or bi-weekly basis.
• Review and approve management recommendations for terminations.
• Prepare and maintain records and reports for HR functions.
• Keep executives informed of significant HR issues affecting company goals.
• Develop and supervise training programs for supervisory staff and employees.
• Lead the implementation of safety and health programs and OSHA data tracking.
• Act as liaison between the Company and applicable laws and regulations (OSHA, Wage-Hour, ERISA, etc).
• Conduct investigations when employee concerns arise.
• Manage employee communications and feedback channels (meetings, surveys, newsletters).
• Direct development of programs for employee communications and community relations.
