Job summary

Titan Machinery is seeking an HR Intern to gain hands-on experience in a professional HR setting in the United States. The role supports data management, onboarding, record keeping, and employee inquiries while learning our HR processes and confidentiality standards.

The internship runs 8–12 weeks in the summer, with part-time hours and opportunities to contribute to meaningful projects and develop professional HR skills.

Qualifications

• Current pursuit of a degree in Human Resources or related field with limited remaining coursework.
• Ability to attend part-time work for 8-12 weeks (35-40 hours/week) in summer.
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent organization, decision making, and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to handle confidential information and deliver customer service.

Responsibilities

• Data Management: process and maintain employee data across systems.
• Record Keeping: maintain employment records for selection, benefits, and compensation.
• Onboarding Support: assist with onboarding for new employees.
• Paperwork Processing: assist with HR-related paperwork and transactions.
• Data Integrity: run ad hoc reports and audits for accuracy.
• Employee Assistance: respond to HR, payroll, and benefits inquiries.
• Confidentiality: manage information securely and professionally.
• Documentation Compliance: follow SOPs for HR processes.
• Additional duties as assigned.
