Virginia Spaceport Authority Internship Program invites degree-seeking students to participate in the Human Resources Intern role in Norfolk, VA. The intern will assist with onboarding, HR documents, reports, and internal communications while gaining hands-on HR experience.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Major in HR, Business Administration, Management, Organizational Psychology, Psychology, or related field preferred.
• Previous HR/administrative experience is a plus.
• Experience with scheduling, data entry, recordkeeping, or administrative tasks is helpful.

Responsibilities

• Support new-hire onboarding and orientation processes.
• Assist with preparing HR documents, reports, forms, and correspondence.
• Assist with employee engagement activities, company events, and internal communications.
• Aid HR staff to ensure policies, procedures, and documentation are followed and maintained.
• Assist with special HR projects, data entry, and other initiatives as needed.
• Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee information.
• Perform other duties as assigned as applicable to the role.
