Job summary

Hendrickson in Hebron, Ohio is seeking an HR Generalist to support a range of HR activities including recruitment, training, wage administration, benefits explanation, and employee relations. The role reports to the onsite HR Manager and requires hands-on involvement with HRIS and performance processes.

You will partner with plant leadership to coordinate safety initiatives, training programs, and internship/co-op activities while maintaining compliant records and contributing to a positive,

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
• SHRM-CP/SHRM-SCP or PHR/SPHR preferred.
• Two to three years of full-time or intern HR experience.
• Willing to relocate for next promotional/development assignment.
• Experience delivering training is required.
• Knowledge of ADP or other HCM system is a plus.
• Solid PC skills are a must.

Responsibilities

• Support HR processes such as performance appraisals, orientation, salary administration, and HR metrics.
• Deliver required training modules to hourly and salaried staff.
• Recruit for openings following the established process.
• Brief employees on benefits and policies.
• Maintain positive employee relations and a union-free environment.
• Coordinate communications and on-the-floor visibility with associates.
• Maintain HR records and HRIS data, including training and salary information.
• Assist safety efforts and return-to-work program coordination.
• Lead the Co-op and Intern program.

Skills

Two to three years HR experience

Knowledge of HR principles

Willing to relocate for next promotion

Experience in delivering training

ADP/HCM knowledge

Excellent interpersonal skills

Proficiency with PC tools

Education
