Job summary

Hendrickson is seeking an HR Intern to gain hands-on experience in a corporate HR environment in Canton, OH. You will support onboarding, training development, salary administration, and HR metrics while partnering with managers and interviewers throughout the recruiting process.

You will also lead the student talent program, developing curriculum and mentoring about 15 students per semester, and gain exposure to ADP Lyric HRIS.

Qualifications

• Working toward a Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, Communications, or a related degree.
• Previous HR work, training delivery, or business setting experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic HR principles a plus.
• Excellent oral, written, and PC skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills are required.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 required.

Responsibilities

• Support HR processes including performance appraisals, onboarding, salary administration, and HR metrics.
• Create and facilitate company-mandated and other training modules for employees.
• Recruit for openings following established processes with managers, candidates, and interviewers.
• Maintain strong customer service, enhancing employee relations for internal and external personnel.
• Lead the student talent program: curriculum, interviewing process, training, and mentoring about 15 students per semester.
• Introduce Hendrickson’s HRIS system: ADP Lyric.
• Participate in employee engagement committees such as Activities, Wellness, and Safety.
