Job summary

Hynes Industries Inc. seeks an experienced HR Generalist to manage daily HR operations in Youngstown, Ohio.

You will handle recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, payroll processing, benefits administration, compliance, and performance management to support a productive workforce. The role requires confidentiality, professionalism, and attention to detail, with strong communication skills and the ability to partner with managers to meet staffing and organizational goals in a manufacturing

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field.
• 5-7 years HR experience with at least 1 year payroll processing.
• Working knowledge of HRIS and payroll systems (ADP/Paycom/Workday or similar).
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws (IN, OH) and confidentiality practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day HR operations including recruitment and onboarding.
• Oversee employee relations and performance management.
• Back up payroll processing and bi-weekly payroll.
• Administer benefits programs and coordinate with vendors.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws and internal policies.
• Prepare HR reports and organizational charts as needed.
