Job summary

Fernco, Inc. is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support a ~340-employee manufacturing company with a 24/5 multi-shift schedule across four locations.

You will lead full-cycle recruiting for entry-level production roles and build internal promotion pathways to retain and develop our team. You will manage onboarding, HRIS, policy compliance (OSHA, FMLA, FLSA), payroll backup, benefits, and performance processes, partnering with production leadership and the HR team to drive workforce

Qualifications

• Lead high-volume, full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for entry-level positions.
• Coordinate internal promotions and transfers and onboarding schedules.
• Track HR metrics such as turnover and time-to-hire.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, FMLA, FLSA and other regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in administering benefits, compensation, and employee performance programs.
• Develop and modify training programs with Production Management.
• Maintain HRIS data and employee records for promotions, demotions, and changes.
• Support payroll backup and benefits changes as needed.
