light Bearers Home Care is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to join our Houston office. The role covers recruiting, onboarding, benefits, leave, reporting, and policy administration in a fast-paced home care environment.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year in HR, strong multitasking and confidentiality, solid knowledge of employment laws, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. You will partner with leadership to support staff, ensure compliance, and foster a compassionate workplace.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration or related field preferred.
• At least 1 year in Human Resources.
• Ability to multitask and stay calm in emergencies.
• Strong conflict resolution skills.
• Integrity, professionalism and confidentiality at all times.
• Solid knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office or related software.

Responsibilities

• Recruit, interview, and hire qualified applicants; coordinate onboarding.
• Coordinate pre-employment drug tests and background checks.
• Support benefits administration and leave management; assist Open Enrollment.
• Handle employee relations with discretion and confidentiality.
• Ensure training and compliance with policies and laws.
