Always Best Care Senior Services is seeking an HR Generalist to work with the HR Manager to implement people-centric practices that drive a high-performance culture focused on empowerment, quality, and productivity. Responsibilities include recruiting, benefits administration, regulatory compliance, and delivering HR policies.

The role involves orientation, maintaining HR records, and supporting leadership with workforce planning and reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–2 years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents.

Responsibilities

• Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill positions.
• Maintains an HR system to meet top management information needs.
• Ensures records comply with laws and local regulations; liaises with departments.
• Identifies regulatory requirements and ensures policies and reporting are compliant.
• Writes and delivers HR policies and practices to Leadership Team.
• Plans new employee orientation to foster positive attitudes toward company goals.
• Keeps records of hires, terminations, and employee statistics for reporting.
• Coordinates interviews and performance reviews; conducts in-service training as needed.
• Responds to inquiries regarding policies and procedures.
• Administers benefits programs (health, vision, dental, 401K) and handles related inquiries.
• Assists with wage surveys to determine competitive wage rates.
• Prepares separation notices and conducts exit interviews when necessary.
