Job summary

Hartmann North America is seeking a Human Resources Generalist to support recruitment, onboarding, retention, and employee communications across the organization. The role includes compliance with federal, state, and local laws, plus labor relations and safety coordination.

The position also covers training program development, benefits education, attendance management, and record-keeping. Collaboration with management and payroll is essential for accurate employee data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business, or related field preferred.
• SHRM-CP or CHRP designation is preferred where applicable.
• 3 years of HR or related experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Recruitment, onboarding & retention; full cycle, internal/external; screen and interview candidates.
• Coordinate onboarding, orientation and benefits explanations; support exit interviews.
• Develop employee communications and coordinate team meetings.
• Assist with policy updates to ensure legislative compliance.
• Support labor/employee relations, investigations and disciplinary matters.
• Coordinate training and development programs; monitor training effectiveness.
• Manage absenteeism, leaves, and attendance records; liaise with leadership.
