Job summary

Werfen is seeking an HR Generalist to support recruiting, employee relations, benefits, and training across designated client groups in the United States. The role involves HRIS management, immigration/relocation support, and policy implementation to improve HR effectiveness.

The position offers medical, dental, and vision insurance, a 401k retirement plan with employer matching, plus paid vacation and sick leave. Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR or related field.
• 3+ years HR experience; regulated medical device environment a plus.
• Knowledge of HR principles, employment-related laws and regulations.
• Knowledge of HRIS and ATS systems.
• Experience developing trainings.
• Strong Excel and MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Provide HR support for designated client group including employee relations; coaching, performance and talent management; employee programs; and training.
• Handle inquiries from applicants and employees; refer sensitive matters to appropriate HR team member.
• Support talent acquisition; recruit, interview, and hire open positions; collaborate with managers to understand required skills.
• Partner with Hiring Manager to develop offers that are competitive and meet internal equity levels.
• Lead college recruitment initiatives including partnerships with universities and on-campus events.
• Enhance the company’s image by cultivating relationships with candidates, external contacts, and vendors.
• Assist onboarding and orientation processes including HRIS, background checks, and eligibility verifications.
• Develop and deliver HR trainings for employees and managers; assist other US sites as required.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations; review policies for compliance.
• Compile HR metrics for business and talent acquisition as needed.
