Job summary

LSW Engineers Arizona, Inc. is seeking an HR Generalist to be the first point of contact for employees and to support a broad range of HR functions in a fast-paced engineering environment.

The role emphasizes recruiting and talent acquisition, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, and employee relations, with opportunities to improve processes and foster a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred; direct experience considered.
• 2+ years of experience in human resources, recruiting or related role.
• Experience with recruiting, onboarding and employee support strongly preferred.
• Knowledge of general HR practices, employment laws and compliance.
• Proficiency with HRIS, applicant tracking systems and Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Serve as first point of contact for HR policies, benefits, payroll and workplace matters.
• Provide guidance to employees and managers with confidentiality and timeliness.
• Maintain accurate employee records, ensure compliance.
• Assist with development and communication of HR policies and procedures.
• Support employee engagement initiatives and positive culture.
• Support full-cycle recruiting including postings, sourcing and interviews.
• Coordinate background checks, offers, and pre-employment steps.
• Onboard new hires and manage lifecycle changes (promotions, transfers, terminations).
• Assist with benefits questions, payroll coordination and compliance reporting.
• Support performance management and training coordination.
