Job summary

LD power automation in Los Angeles, CA is seeking an HR Generalist to oversee daily HR operations including payroll, benefits, onboarding, and compliance. The role supports recruitment, training, and employee development while ensuring accurate HR data management and reporting.

The successful candidate will have 2–5 years of HR generalist experience, strong communication, and familiarity with HRIS and MS Office. Onsite role with competitive benefits and opportunities for process improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 2–5 years of progressive HR experience (generalist, coordinator, or people operations).
• HR certifications (SHRM‑CP, PHR, or aPHR) is a plus but not required.
• Ability to collect, interpret, and present HR data and metrics.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for daily HR inquiries and employee support.
• Maintain confidential employee records, HRIS data, and personnel files.
• Administer onboarding and offboarding processes including new hire documentation.
• Support policy updates, HR communications, and documentation management.
• Coordinate interviews, postings, and candidate communications.
• Manage payroll inputs, timecards, deductions, and payroll vendor coordination.
• Oversee employee benefits enrollment and changes.
• Assist with workers’ compensation, safety compliance, and OSHA reporting.
• Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
• Prepare HR reports and workforce analytics for leadership.
