Job summary

PSA Penn Terminals LLC in Eddystone, PA is seeking an HR Generalist to support staffing, onboarding, benefits, and compliance on-site. You will partner with hiring managers, manage recruitment, pre-onboarding, onboarding, and offboarding, while ensuring accurate HR data and audits.

You will utilize Paylocity for time tracking, payroll coordination, and benefits administration, while maintaining confidentiality and adherence to labor laws and union relations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.
• 4–5 years of HR Generalist experience.
• Familiarity with HRIS systems; Paylocity is a plus.
• Knowledge of employment laws and regulations related to benefits, leave, and union relations.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
• Experience with Paylocity and/or UKG is preferred.
• Proficient with MS Office and common internet software.

Responsibilities

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and candidate experience.
• Oversee end-to-end recruitment, from postings to candidate selection, including seasonal hires.
• Coordinate pre-onboarding activities, background checks, offer letters, and communications with new hires.
• Facilitate onboarding experiences and manage offboarding with professionalism and compliance.
• Learn and utilize Paylocity to improve HR workflows including time tracking, payroll coordination, and benefits administration.
• Identify opportunities for HR process improvements and conduct training initiatives.
