Job summary

CFS is seeking an HR Generalist to own payroll, recruiting, and employee engagement. This onsite role offers hands-on exposure to operations and a path to long-term growth within a family-owned organization with a stable leadership base.

You will support payroll, onboarding, HRIS, and employee relations while collaborating with an established HR team. This position emphasizes visibility and impact across manufacturing operations.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of HR Generalist, payroll, HR administration, or recruiting experience.
• Manufacturing or other transferable industry experience preferred.
• Strong payroll, HRIS, Microsoft 365, and advanced Excel skills.
• Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage weekly payroll processing, timekeeping administration, and attendance tracking.
• Lead recruiting efforts including job postings, candidate communication, interview scheduling, and hiring support.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and help new hires transition successfully into the organization.
• Maintain employee records and HR documentation while ensuring confidentiality and accuracy.
• Serve as a resource for employee and leadership questions related to HR, payroll, and employment matters.
• Utilize Paycom, HRIS platforms, and reporting tools to support workforce administration and compliance.
