Job summary

Pro-Active Engineering in Burnsville, MN is seeking a Human Resource Generalist to provide on-site HR support in a fast-paced electronics environment. You will handle payroll, employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits, and compliance to ensure smooth HR operations and a positive workplace culture.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management or related field.
• 3-5 years of progressive HR experience; HR Generalist preferred.
• Basic knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Experience handling employee relations issues and investigations.
• Ability to coach leaders and influence at multiple levels.
• Experience managing full-cycle recruiting and onboarding.
• Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent interpersonal, conflict resolution, and communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships and handle sensitive matters with integrity.

Responsibilities

• Process payroll accurately and timely, including timekeeping reviews.
• Handle employee relations matters and investigations.
• Support full-cycle recruiting and onboarding activities.
• Coordinate onboarding activities and new hire orientation.
• Promote engagement and plan employee events with cross-functional teams.
• Support performance management and training initiatives.
• Administer compensation and benefits programs and update HRIS.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and maintain records.
