Job summary

Core-Mark International in Heath, OH is seeking an HR Generalist to manage HR duties, drive employee engagement, and support recruiting, safety, payroll, benefits, and training functions. You will ensure HR compliance and contribute to innovative practices to foster a people-first culture.

The role requires handling onboarding, payroll processing across multiple locations, HRIS maintenance, benefits administration, and responding to employee inquiries with confidentiality and integrity.

Qualifications

• 3 years of HR experience or equivalent
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

Responsibilities

• Support onboarding and facilitate weekly new hire orientation
• Process biweekly payroll for multiple locations across 3 OpCo locations
• Maintain HRIS data including new hires and status changes
• Administer various HR plans including pay, benefits, and leave processes
• Address employee inquiries regarding policies and HR programs
• Assist in development and implementation of HR policies and procedures
• Provide employee relations support including investigations
• Provide legal support for active litigations
• Audit employee timekeeping records for compliance
• Assist with unemployment claim responses
• Coordinate employee training and recognition programs
• Provide additional HR process support across Core-Mark
• Perform other related duties as assigned
